Learning Objectives Recite the holy verse correctly and from memory. Describe the events of the Day of Judgment as shown in the surah. Compare between the reward of the obedient and that of the disobedient on the Day of Judgment. Conclude that performing good deeds helps me enter Paradise.
What is meant by faith in the last day? It means that there is an account after death.
How does heaven and earth respond to Allah s command on the Day of judgment? The sky cracks Earth will spread out The death shall come forth
People are exhausted in the present life; when they die, they meet their Lord to be judged The obedient will be given the record of their deeds in their right hand. The disobedient will be given their record behind their back. Because they abandoned sins in this world Because of the sins they had committed They are pleased to enter Paradise They call destruction for themselves. Their account is easy They will enter a blazing hell
The deeds that help me receive my book in my right hand:
Compare the condition of the obedient to their Lord with that of the sinful: Aspect of comparison Obedient Sinful The way they receive the record of their deeds: Their state in this world: Their belief that they will be brought to account by Allah: The result:
