Understanding Socratic Seminars: Rules, Setup, and Discussion
Socratic Seminars involve students reading and discussing texts, following rules like speaking clearly, inviting others to share viewpoints, and referencing the text. Students are randomly paired to discuss questions and quotes, taking turns speaking and listening. After the seminar, students reflect on their experience through an exit ticket.
