  2. Psalm 37:28 Memory Verse For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Introduction: David acknowledges God s creative power and perfection God made all things perfect, and he can do all things well for you too (Mark 7: 37) David faced many challenges especially from King Saul, he prayed, trusted in God and was delivered God never puts the righteous to shame To enjoy God s all-round blessings, every youth should ensure they are genuinely born again

  5. 1: Davids Pronouncement of Gods Perfection and Faithfulness (Psalms 33:1-22;34:1-22; 1Peter 3:10-13) David surveyed God s past works, and with confidence in God s omnipotence, encouraged the righteous to rejoice in the Lord Christian youths are to live a righteous life in the world by the power of Jesus proof they belong to God Sinning youths cannot enjoy God s blessing until they repent of their sins (Matthew 15:26) Repentance is breaking away from all sins and living daily victoriuosly (Psalms 37:8) Some of the blessings to be enjoyed include academic success, healing, deliverance and divine supplies

  6. 2: Davids Prayer for Deliverance From Man s Wickedness (Psalms 35:1-28; 36:1-12; 37:3-8 David prayed to God to deliver him from his numerous troubles and challenges God heard his prayers and delivered him Christian youths are encouraged to commit their ways to God in prayers David described the wicked as quick to do evil and fear not God (Psalms 36:1,3,4) Other youths may cheat, fight, involve in immorality and do drugs, Christian youths should not join them God will judge the wicked if they do not repent

  7. 3: David Portrays Gods Dealings with Man (Psalms 37:1,2,9-40; Psalms 1:4, Ecclesiastes 8:10-13) David described the righteous as perfect and the wicked as transgressor He spoke of God s faithfulness to deliver the righteous from the wicked He also affirmed God s judgement on unrepentant sinners The righteous youths are warned not to envy the success and achievements of sinning youths The righteous youth are to endure to the end because God will deliver them
