What is effort? WESTSIDE ELEMENTARY

Scoring Effort in our Notebooks At the end of every lesson, we will score how much effort we put into the lesson and our learning. 1 I am not trying. 2 I am trying a little. 3 I am doing what the teacher asks. 4 I am doing more than what the teacher asks.
Application Make a T chart in your notebook. We are going to make a list of ways to show effort in the classroom and examples of not giving effort. Do this .. (Effort) Not that (Not giving effort)
Revisit the Goal On a sticky note write a clink for something you feel you learned today about effort. On another sticky note, write something you need to learn more about. Clunk Clink
