How do we classify animals? Have you ever wondered, how do you work out what makes a bird a bird, or what make a fish a fish? In the animal kingdom, there are a lot of animals, and we need a way to know who is who! Animal Detectives Pre Activity Name ... . Years ago, when people wanted to learn about animals, they realised that there were different types and they worked out there were different groups of animals. There are 5 different groups of animals that have bones (like us). There are also animals that don t have bones, like snails and insects!
