Understanding and Responding to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the FSM
COVID-19, caused by the new coronavirus, presents mild to severe symptoms and spreads through close contact. Older individuals and those with underlying conditions are at higher risk. There is no specific treatment yet, but symptoms can be managed. Prevention measures include frequent handwashing, covering mouth when coughing, maintaining distance, avoiding touching face, and seeking medical care if symptomatic.
