MATH 308 Algebra Chapter 1 Class Notes For August 29, 2022 Prof. David Singer
Operations Algebra is about sets with operations. An operation takes elements of a set and produces a new element. Example: Addition + takes two numbers a and b and gives a new number a+b
Patterns 3x2=6 4x6=24 2x3=6 6x4=24
