University Math Placement Test Overview
The University Math Placement Test is a tool to help place students accurately into math courses, ensuring their success. It consists of three practice tests - Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Students start with the Practice Algebra Test and have the opportunity to advance based on their scores. The University emphasizes academic integrity and expects students to abide by the UCF Creed. First-time-in-college students at UCF must complete the Math Placement Test before their first semester. The test format includes sections on Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Practice tests and the actual placement test are conveniently taken online using Pearson LockDown Browser.

Integrity Statement The University believes that appropriate placement of students into certain course sequences is important to help foster an environment of success. The University administers the UCF Math Placement Test to determine placement into the mathematics course sequence. As reflected in the UCF creed, integrity and scholarship are core values that should guide our conduct and decisions as members of the UCF community. Participating in a behavior that violates academic integrity (e.g. cheating, using an unapproved calculator, giving or receiving assistance, fraudulently altering test results, etc.) contradict these values, and may result in sanctions if found in violation of academic misconduct policies. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with and follow the University s Rules of Conduct (see http://www.osc.sdes.ucf.edu/). (click here) By starting this test, I agree to uphold the UCF Creed and demonstrate academic and personal integrity. University of Central Florida Student Development and Enrollment Services
