WF Discussion Capture in Chairman Minutes: For the usage of rrc-MaxCapaSegAllowed for EN- DC. In case MR-DC/NR capability is NOT enquired together with LTE capability, there might be issue of FS-ID inconsistency. [OPPO] Red part is added based on offline suggestion [OPPO] Red part is removed based on offline, and this short version seems OK for companies.
WF Discussion Any view regarding: whether the current spec mandate UE to ensure FS-ID consistency in the case above? if so whether some NOTE to the spec is needed? [OPPO] It is observed that some companies want this clarification to relax UE report of FS-ID consistency in the separate enquiry case, while the separate enquiry proponent tends to avoid explicit text in spec which seems to discourage the implementation supporting separate enquiry ..
WF Discussion Current Text: The UE shall ensure that the feature set IDs are consistent across feature sets, feature set combinations and band combinations in all three UE capability containers that the network queries with the same fields with the same values, i.e. UECapabilityRequestFilterNR,UE-CapabilityRequestFilterCommon, rrc- SegAllowed and fields in UECapabilityEnquiry message (i.e. requestedFreqBandsNR-MRDC, requestedCapabilityNR, eutra-nr-only flag, requestedCapabilityCommon, and rrc-SegAllowed) as defined in TS 36.331 [10], where applicable NOTE: For the usage of rrc-MaxCapaSegAllowed, in case MR-DC/NR capability is NOT enquired together with LTE capability, there might be issue of FS-ID inconsistency
