Results Availability CAASPP Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for ELA, mathematics, and science results are available now in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS) and CERS. ELPAC K 12 Summative ELPAC results are available now in TOMS and CERS. Student Score Reports and Student Score Data Files will be updated daily as more results are released. All results are estimated to be processed by September 3, 2024. 10
CAA for ELA Second Scoring Overview (1) Second scoring for the CAA for ELA will only be required for a subset of LEAs assigned to Form 2 for grades six through eight and grade eleven only. Grades three through five will not participate in second scoring. 12
CAA for ELA Second Scoring Overview (2) Second scorers no longer are required to be a credentialed teacher or licensed educator. Second scorers must: Be an LEA employee or contractor Be familiar with the individual needs of the student, including their communication mode(s) Complete the CAA Test Examiner Tutorial Sign the Test Security Affidavit electronically in TOMS Be assigned the Test Examiner or Test Administrator user role 13
STAIRS Tips Overview Please enter STAIRS cases with enough time to allow for testing. Note that students who require a change to a CAASPP test assignment but have already taken the ELPAC or Alternate ELPAC will not be able to make the change. Please confirm any remaining Incorrect SSID Used swap cases. 15
Rollover Reminders The 2024 25 TOMS user roles for CAASPP and the ELPAC will be available beginning July 3, 2024. Only users who have a 2024 25 role will keep their access to TOMS. All roles from 2023 24 will be deactivated. This TOMS User Rollover is taking place about one month earlier than in previous years. The 2023 24 interim assessments will remain available until August 1, 2024, when the August system downtime begins. LEA staff members will need a 2024 25 user role in TOMS to administer interim assessments after the July TOMS User Rollover. 17
CAASPP and ELPAC Reminders Note the designation of LEA coordinators for 2024 25: The ELPAC deadline was April 1. The CAASPP deadline is July 1. Note that Summative ELPAC K 2 Answer Books must be scheduled for pickup by June 14, 2024, to be scored by ETS. Check the Completion Status system to ensure that all K 12 Speaking scores have been entered in the Data Entry Interface prior to the end of the testing window.
