THE CR-NATIONAL
CUISINE
 
Traditional Czech cuisine is said to be
unhealthy, due to its dumplings, fatty
meats and thick sauces.
A typical Czech dish
 roast pork
 with
cabbage
 and 
dumplings
.
Very popular are also sweet dishes like
dumplings
 suffed 
with plums
, or
pancakes
.
 
But many people now follow modern
trends and eat more vegetables and fish
or chicken meat.
Breakfast
 
Daily meals usually start with breakfast,
which consists of something to drink -
tea
, 
coffee
, 
cocoa
, 
milk
 - and something
to eat, e.g. slices of 
bread
, 
butter
, 
ham
,
salami
,  
cheese
, 
eggs 
etc.
Instead of bread we can eat 
rolls
 or 
buns
or we can have something sweet (
cakes
,
doughnuts
, 
gingerbread
).
 
A lot of people eat cereals, porridge or
muesli.
Breakfast usually takes place between 6
and 7 o´clock.
