Thomas Jefferson - Founding Father of American History
Thomas Jefferson, a significant figure in British and American history, was the third US President and a Founding Father who played a key role in writing the Declaration of Independence. He supported the Louisiana Purchase, established the University of Virginia, and helped design Washington DC. Jefferson passed away on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
