Enrolled in both Math and Science honors courses A waiver for the honors requirement may be applied when applicable Requirements for the 2021-22 School Year Math Requirements Applicants to the freshman class at TJHSST must be taking a full-year of Honors Algebra I for high school credit, or higher- level math course in Grade 8 to apply to TJHSST. GPA Minimum GPA is 3.5. This GPA is for final unweighted marks in 7th grade for Math, Science, English, Social Studies and World Language, as well as 1st quarter, 8th grade, for the same subjects.

  3. 550 seats will be offered to the highest- evaluated students. Students will be evaluated on the following: A comprehensive college preparatory program emphasizing science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Grade point average (GPA) Student portrait sheet where they will be asked to demonstrate portrait of a Graduate attributes and 21st century skills Problem-solving essay

  4. The average GPA for students offered admission was 3.9539, slightly higher than previous years New Information about Acceptance to TJHSST Standardized admission test has been eliminated The $100 application fee has been eliminated

  10. 1. The applicant must access the Log-In Screen prior to the parent and complete the initial log-in process that includes entry of a parent name and email address. Steps to Complete the Application 2. Parent receives an auto-generated email containing the "link" for them to log-in and create the parent account. This link does expire so parents are encouraged to log in as soon as possible. 3. TJ Liaison Counselor from the applicant's school verifies math course. (Allow 24 hours, minimum, for this verification to be completed.) Auto- generated email is sent to applicant and parent after verification advising them, they may complete the application. 4. Applicant and parent must both electronically sign 5. Submit the application. 6.
