– Overcomes the Saints.
– Earth-Dwellers worship.
• All those not written in the Book of Life.
• Beast out of the Earth (“False Prophet”):
– Two horns like Lamb.
– Speaks as the Dragon.
– Causes Earth to worship the 1st Beast.
– Deceives the Earth with miracles.
– Forces worship of an image of 1st Beast.
• All receive mark in right hands or foreheads.
• No man may buy or sell without the name or number
of the 1st Beast: 666.

In Revelation 13, the emergence of the second beast, the False Prophet, is described. This entity wields authority under the first beast, deceiving people with miraculous signs and instituting the worship of the first beast. The False Prophet even brings an image to life, demanding worshipping under penalty of death. All are marked on the right hand or forehead to control buying and selling, with the ominous number 666 associated with the beast. This passage reveals a dark prophecy of manipulation, deception, and forced allegiance in the end times.
