INTRODUCTION
In the English language, the eight parts
of speech serve as the ultimate
foundation of grammar.
Generally, the part of speech shows
how the word functions in meaning as
well as grammatically within the
sentence.

DEFINITION
A noun is the
name of a
person, place,
thing, or idea.
NOUN
A pronoun is a
word used in
place of a noun.
PRONOUN
A verb expresses
action or being.

DEFINITION
An adjective
modifies or
describes a noun
or pronoun.

modifies or
describes a verb,
