The Character of Kings - Reflections on Divine Sovereignty
Reflecting on biblical verses and narratives, this collection explores the concept of kingship as dictated by divine will, emphasizing the eternal nature of God's Word and the consequences of human desires for earthly rulers. It contrasts the rejection of divine rulership by choosing human kings, highlighting the contrast between God's sovereignty and human governance.

The Character of Kings 2 REVELATION 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
WHAT.THINK.YE.OF.CHRIST 13 His Word is so eternal. When God has said anything, it will remain forever. It cannot be altered, it must be carried out And when God speaks, it must be carried out. There's no altering, playing politics; it's got to be just exactly the way he said it. For, if once spoken, it's established forever in glory. So, when we read His Word, It's eternal and will never cease to exist. I believe His Word with all my heart, all my soul, all my life, all I am. I just hang onto His Word. I believe it's forever the truth. 54-0321 2 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
I SAMUEL 8:17-21 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. 18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day. 19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; 20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. 21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD. 3 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
THE.REJECTED.KING 47 No matter how much that Samuel tried to per- suade the people, continually they went after him day and night, "We want a king, a man. We want a man that we can say, "This is our guide." It never was the will of God, or never will be the will of God for man to rule over one another. God rules over man So they chose themselves a man named Saul... And he was a reputable, honorable man. He suited the people just right, because he was a great, tall, noble stature of a man head and shoulders above any man in Israel. He was kingly looking, handsome in the face, a brilliant and an extraordinary man. 4 60-0515 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
DEUTERONOMY 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; 15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. 5 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
Saul, Son of Kish I SAMUEL 9:1-2 Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power. 2 And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he 6 Character of Kings 2 was higher than any of the people. 8/05/2020
Future: (Millenium) Rev. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Future Home: Rev. 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 7 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
MATTHEW 20:25-28 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 8 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
THE.MESSIAH 23 God called us, and we become kings and priests unto God. Like Jesus was God's High Priest, we become a lesser priest. God in Fullness dwelt in Him to shine forth the expression of God to the world, for God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. As God was in Christ reconciling God comes into His church and anoints some Messiahettes . The same power He had is in His church. And His church becomes His dominion, and He's King over this dominion, and we are kings and priests, offering spiritual sacrifices to God, the fruits of our lips giving praise to His Name. Amen. There you are: Messiahettes, little messiahs, little anointed ones. Anointed off the main One, off of the great One. Character of Kings 2 9 8/05/2020 61-0117
QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS. 73 God led the people of the Jews. They were never a nation; they were just a people. And they never was an organized church; they were just the church called out. There never was an organization amongst the Jews; they were always led by God. Then when politically, nationally, they wanted to have a king... God gave them a king and it never did work. God's their King. God's our King. God's the King of the church. 54-0103 10 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
LUKE 22:24-27 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he Character of Kings 2 that serveth. 11 8/05/2020
Reigning in This Life: ROMANS 5:11-17 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 12 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
HOW.THE.ANGEL.CAME.TO.ME 75 He hangs over a young woman setting right over there. Got a swollen spleen, haven't you? Do you believe me to be God's prophet? You believe that God give me His Word? Lord Jesus, Thou lovely One, heal all these sick and needy here tonight, Lord. We know that You're here. Now, may the people, Lord, that's standing here knowing that my strength is gone, but Lord, You're here. And now, as Your servant, I take dominion over every unclean spirit in this building. And I say to Satan, "You are a loser. God has sent Christ and He's won the victory. And I charge thee by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, come out of the people. Leave them and go from them, in Jesus Name. 53-1107 8/05/2020 13 Character of Kings 2
GENESIS 17:4-9 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 14 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. Generations Means continuity, the way of imparting things that have durability. 15 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
D A definitive letter, clear sound. R Rolling, fluid, changing. DIN Structure, organized discipline, definitive boundaries, etc. Rachamim Compassion, mercy, adjusting rules. 16 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
THE.KINSMAN.REDEEMER 126 She said, "Mark where he lieth down. Then when he lieth down to sleep (to rest), you go lie down by his feet " Mark where He lay at Calvary, where He laid down in the tomb in Gethsemane. And Ruth said, "What you say, that I'll do." Oh, what a clear-cut decision for a believer. "What the Bible says, that I'll do. It says, 'Repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ,' I'll do it. If It says, 'Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel,' I'll do it. See the church taking It's orders from the Word. 17 60-1002 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
Continuity, the way of imparting things that have durability. Decline, soft start, hoping for structure to follow, gentleness. LUKE 21:29-32 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, 18 Character of Kings 2 till all be fulfilled. 8/05/2020
JEHOVAH.JIREH 16 And when God makes a covenant between Him and a man, man always breaks his covenant. God keeps His. So God made this covenant by Himself, gave it to Abraham. Not if Abraham would do anything, but God said, "I have done it." It's already a finished thing. Completely, wholly, with grace: no conditions at all. God's covenant with Abraham, and his seed after him. Now, the seed of Abraham, physical seed, a material seed, of course, was the Jewish people. 56-1209 19 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
UNFAILING.REALITIES 112 And when God made man in His own image, He put him on the earth as a lesser god. Jesus declared it when He said, "Is not it written in your laws, that you are gods? And if they called those gods who the Word of God come to (which was the prophets), how can you condemn Me when I say I'm the Son of God?" They just couldn't understand it. But man was put here with a dominion over the earth. He had everything under his control. 60-0626 20 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
ROMANS 6:8-10 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 21 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
ROMANS 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 22 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
THE.RESURRECTION.OF.JESUS 20 And notice, it's when you are discouraged that's when the devil can really pour it on you. If you come to the church and say, "Well, I don't know. I don't know whether I'll ever get any better or not. I've been prayed for twice." You might as well go home. But when you can cast that aside... God don't want you to be frowning. God wants you to be happy. The human heart was made to be happy. Worry will cause cancer. Temper will cause cancer. Don't never be upset. Just walk in His love. Amen. Knowing that you're Character of Kings 2 walking in Him, and nothing can harm you. 23 8/05/2020
Neither powers, things present, things future, nothing can separate us from Him. We're in Him. And we never come in by our own will. He, by choice, elected us and brought us in to Him. Amen. So it's His business to take care of what He's took Hisself. "No man can pluck them from My Father's hands..." Amen. It's the Father Who takes care of it So what kind of a power have you got over you to take care of you? The powers that created the universes. Amen. That blew like that and every star went to its place. He watches over you. Amen. That's the kind of a Father we have. 8/05/2020 56-0405 24 Character of Kings 2

Things that Cripple: 1. Resentment 2. Regret 3. Shame 4. Guilt 5. Bitterness ROMANS 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 26 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020

THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST 216 And if our lives come from up There, then we act like that. Our Life is from a holy Place. It looks, dresses different. The women up There has long hair, they don't wear manicure wear shorts. They wear skirts, long dresses, long hair. So the nature of it, from up There, reflects back on us. The men don't smoke, chew, lie, steal. They come, their spirits, come from a holy Place, makes them act holy, recognize one another as brothers. We're of a Kingdom, and we have a King. And He is the King of saints. Then when a person is sanctified, Christ, the Holy Spirit moves into the heart and becomes King over them. 60-1204 28 Character of Kings 2 8/05/2020
ADOPTION.4 76 Sid you know that men that are sons of God are amateur gods? Jesus said, "Did not your law say itself that you are gods?" God said in Gen. 2 that they were gods, because they were--had full dominion of the world. He give him dominion over all things. And he lost his godship his domain; Satan took it over. Brother, we are waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God, who will take it over again. Waiting for the fullness of time, when the pyramid gets up to the top, when full sons of God will be manifested, the power of God will walk out (Hallelujah.) and will take every power that Satan's got away from him. Yes, sir, it belongs to him. 60-0522 8/05/2020 29 Character of Kings 2
