Like a good friend, Sitaram wished Nathu good luck and said that he would look out for a suitable job for Nathu. As Sitaram went delivering, in the fourth house he heard a Mrs. Srivastava mention that she needs a sweeper in the house. Sitaram told her that he knows of a person who is looking for a job and presently he is working at the bank, but wants to leave the job as they are not paying him his salary. And the lady said that she wanted to meet with the sweeper the next day. Grace Academy
Then Mrs Srivastava went to the market to do her usual tour to the cloth shop. She met her friend Mrs Bhushan sheltering from the heat under a tamarind tree fanning herself with a large handkerchief. Mrs Bhushan was complaining about the summer heat, which according to her was the hottest summer in Pipalnagar. She showed the clothes she was going to buy and they talked about the texture, shade and design for 5 minutes. Sheltering to take protection Grace Academy
When they had nothing more to discussed, Mrs Srivastava told that Seth Govind Ram s bank even can t pay its employees and that only that morning she heard about the sweeper complaining who have not received his wages for over a month.
