  2. Technology Resources Policy Overview Applies to all users within the district that utilize any state technology resources (e.g., hardware, software, phones, and email) Effective August 1, 2023

  3. Technology Resources Policy Prohibitions State technology resources must not be used to: Express a political opinion to an elected official unless the opinion is: Within the scope of the employee s regular job duties; or Requested by an elected official or public entity

  4. Technology Resources Policy Prohibitions State technology resources must not be used to: Engage in lobbying an elected official on a personal opinion if the employee is not a registered lobbyist for the public entity.

  5. Technology Resources Policy Prohibitions State technology resources must not be used to: Engage in illegal activities or activities otherwise prohibited by federal law or state law.

  6. Technology Resources Policy Prohibitions State technology resources must not be used to: Intentionally override or avoid the security and system integrity procedures of the public entity.
