T.Guevara, GCT School District Artist s Statement The three artworks that I chose were my most prideful artworks and my most successful artworks. The kitsune mask That I had made was lacking in a few area s but I think it looked good for something I have never even attempted making before. I think the second artwork I chose is successful because It is very detailed and at least somewhat shaded. If I had an extra 5 hours to spare for the berserker artwork I made I would of added a lot more shading and make it look as though light was reflecting off the armor in the berserk artwork. The third artwork that I have included is my favorite artwork. I think it is successful because of the somewhat realistic aspect of the drawing and a creative way to display the colors from the color wheel. I feel as though my skill has grown drastically throughout the year. I have learned how to utilize the grid method, use water colors and acrylic paints, learned how to handle clay, learned how to self critique my own artwork, etc. I am glad that I have taken art this year and hope to be able to take it in the next year.
