Purchasing Criteria Computers & Electronica Equipment (50% of total purchases) ENERGY STAR, EPEAT Furniture (50% of total purchases) 10% post-consumer recycled material. 70% material salvaged from off-site or outside the organization. 70% material salvaged from on-site, through an internal organization materials and equipment reuse program. 50% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified wood. 50% material harvested and processed or extracted and processed within 500 miles of the building.
Purchasing Criteria Ongoing Consumables (office supplies) 60% of total purchases 10%+ post-consumer 50% materials harvested and processed or extracted and processed within 500 miles of the building. 50% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified paper products. Batteries are rechargeable. All office white copy paper shall be at least 75% post-consumer recycled content paper. All other paper shall at least meet minimum EPA guidelines for recycled content. 2-Sided (double-sided) printing shall be standard at all printing stations.
