Agenda Introductions Updates on current Street Touring classes STX STR STS STH Potential Provisional ST* class Current state of the STU Proposal and path forward Questions
Class Discussion: STX No changes planned STAC is watching announcements on new 86/BRZ but no reason to class immediately
Class Discussion: STR ND2 added recently Diversity within the class is limited Would participants rather see diverse classes or multiple competitive chassis? Some changes were considered to improve competitiveness of the S2000. Ultimately did not go out for comment Are there other cars that would fit in STR?
Class Discussion: STS No changes currently planned Well subscribed and stable class Cheap way to get into ST
Class Discussion: STH Class has seen consistent growth year over year Potential new allowances as part of the STU proposal will address some of the class concerns
Class Discussion: Provisional ST* Investigating provisional class to meet common requests Should focus be on NB/late NA miatas or NC/MR-S/AP1 S2000? Alternately, a Super ST* focused on c5z/c6 Corvettes, 996/997 Porsche, 718 Cayman, M2 Competition, Supra Requesting feedback from membership
STU Proposal Out for Comment Latest official version of the proposal published in July Fastrack. Continuing to refine allowances and cars Modernization of ST* rules. Did we miss something? Most changes affect STH and STU Some allowances effect all classes Seeking feedback on proposal implementation timeline
STU Proposal Out for Comment Current Proposal Basics Larger tires for STU Intercoolers for STU, Intercooler piping for STU and STH Modification of boost regulation systems Pressure plate and clutch disk changes for all classes Transmission tuning for all classes Electronic differential tuning for all classes except AWD STH cars AWD cars except STH/STS can replace a differential Additions to Appendix A for STU only
