  3. What is STAR360? STAR360 is third party assessment program from Renaissance which is K12 approved to be used as a growth measure assessment. STAR360 Assessments are short tests that provide teachers with learning data. STAR360 tests are computer adaptive, which means they adjust to each answer a child provides. STAR360 serves as a grade level universal screener and provides Norm- and criterion-referenced growth measures based on Pennsylvania standards.

  4. All students at Insight PA are expected to complete the STAR360 assessment. Who takes the STAR360 assessment? K12 has established a participation goal of 95% for its schools. 6. How are STAR360 results communicated? Three reports are used to inform instruction: Screening Report: after initial, screening or Readiness testing to assist in grouping. Growth Proficiency Report: Student Growth Proficiency (SGP) is calculated for students who have taken at least two tests within different testing windows. It uses the most recent test and at least one prior test from an earlier window (Fall, Winter or Spring) K12s goal is to see 1 year's growth in each student.
