Doler/tener dolor de.. Me duele la cabeza (My head hurts) Tengo dolor de cabeza (I have a headache)
Doler works just like the verb gustar Duele + el/la + singular noun Me duele Te duele el cuello el dedo el est mago la espalda la rodilla ( .hurts me) ( hurts you) ( hurts him/her) Le duele ( hurts us) Nos duele ( hurts you pl.) ( hurts them) + Os duele Les duele
Duelen + los/las + plural noun Me duelen Te duelen Le duelen Nos duelen Os duelen Les duelen las muelas los pies los o dos las piernas los ojos las rodillas ( .hurt me) ( hurt you) ( hurt him/her) ( hurt us) ( hurt you pl.) ( hurt them) +
When the subject is named the following structure is used A+subject+ duele/duelen (same structure as with gustar ) A mi hermano le duele la cabeza A Anna le duelen los o dos A los chicos les duele la espalda A mis amigos les duelen los pies
