SONGS OF DELIVERANCE AND THANKSGIVING 1
MEMORY VERSE: Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole hear, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation" (Psalm 111:1) TEXT: Psalms 110:1-7;111:1-10;112:1-10;113:1-9; 114:1-8; 115:1-18:116:1 19:117:1,2;118:1-29
INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION Our Bible Passages focus on the gift of Jesus Christs as our Messiah. Messiah means deliverer or Saviour. God in His love and mercy sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins. This is because boys and girls have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
PROVISION FOR OUR DELIVERANCE God is not happy that you remain in your sinful ways. He does not want anyone to perish and suffer in hell-fire with Satan. This is why He made provision for our deliverance. Deliverance means to be made totally free from sin and the troubles that come with it. 2/22/2025 4
BE PART OF GODS PROVISION If you are still a sinner, do not remain in your naughty ways. Be sorry for all the bad things you have done. Tell Jesus to have mercy on you and forgive you. Ask Jesus to come into your life to be your Saviour and Friend. If you do this sincerely, then you will become a child of God and a friend of Jesus.
PRAISE GOD FOR DELIVERANCE Having received pardon and cleansing of your sins, you must show gratitude to God by singing songs of praise unto Him. The Psalmist realized the great things that God did in delivering him from sin and troubles. He then sang songs of praise unto God. This should be the attitude of friends of Jesus
CONCLUSION Praise God every time, whether things are all right or not. Just praise God and He will do great things in your life. At the end, Jesus will take you to heaven to live with Him forever.
