SMMPA, a not-for-profit political subdivision in Minnesota, updated its transmission rate formula in August 2018. The Attachment O timeline outlines crucial dates for stakeholders, including the annual meeting on formula rate updates. SMMPA, as a Transmission Owner in MISO, follows FERC-approved templates for establishing rates. The 2017 Attachment O summary shows key financial data and the transmission rate at $3.584/kW-month. Historical comparisons indicate the evolution of transmission revenue requirements. Timely submissions and responses are critical in the rate-setting process, culminating in a formal challenge deadline in March 2019.
