SEND in Museums Project
Lucy Ward, Learning Officer, and Lucy Mitchinson, Senior Teaching Assistant, collaborated on the SEND.in.Museums.Project at Brooklands Museum. They created "We're Going for a Race," a sensory story for children with PMLD, along with sensory objects for SEND workshops. The project aims to provide resources tailored for an SEND audience, offer insights into the challenges SEND schools face at museums, and pave the way for future opportunities in inclusive education.
