us

dwell among them.”

means, “God with us.”

Our nation is choosing.
We must have His Presence!
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will
save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet
you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
(Zephaniah 3:17)
At that time many will turn away from the faith and
will betray and hate each other, and many false
prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of
most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the
end will be saved.
(Matthew 24:10-13)

And the one thing we all need – God’s presence
Who you are in the presence of – matters
COVID is hard – keeps us from the presence of others
Same circumstance – different presence (changed)
Amidst the chaos of a rapidly changing world, we must heed the warnings from scripture about losing God's presence. Let us reflect on the consequences of straying from His path and rediscover the importance of dwelling with God for ultimate glory and purpose. The stories of Israel's fall serve as stark reminders of the misery and destruction that ensue when we neglect God's voice and follow our own stubborn inclinations. As we navigate these challenging times, let us seek God's presence earnestly, for His word is living and active, sharper than any sword, guiding us to discern our thoughts and intentions with clarity.

Gods presence dwelling with us is our purpose and His Ultimate Glory
Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. (Exodus 25:8)
The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel which means, God with us. (Mt. 1:23)
Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them (Rev. 21:3)

How do we lose Gods presence? Why does is matter more than ever before?
The world is changing rapidly, and we are too weary & distracted ( did not listen to my voice / Jer. 7:24)
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. . (Hebrews 4:12)

We have so many problems to solve, and we are too afraid to slow down ( did not pay attention / Jer. 7:24)
