Who are the EOTAS Nurses in NELFT? In Waltham Forest there are 2 EOTAS Nurses - Juliet James and Rosemary Fagbemi . We are qualified nurses with a Public Health Degree. We work in partnership with Social Care, Health and Education. And other agencies if required.
What can the school nurse do? Invite them to a drop in session and carry out a health review. Start to build a relationship with them Offer guidance and support Don t criticise or judge them
Consider signposting to other services for support- What support is available? Mentoring services Social Care, early intervention young carers YOS early intervention Audiology Continence nurse. CAMHS / counselling Sexual health services. Drug and Alcohol Support
