Do you heat with Oil, Gas, Electric Propane, Kerosene, Wood Pellets? OR Is your Heat is Included? The Energy Assistance Program is now open and taking applications by phone, walk ins. Call 203-235-0278 to complete the application by phone. Do you need food from the Food Pantry? Hours operation are now from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, (Bring your own bags). Do you need assistance getting on a budget with Eversource? We can review your available options with you by telephone. Are you having trouble making your food stretch throughout the month? We can help you complete a SNAP application and get your required documents to DSS for review, Or you can call the CT Department of Social Services directly at 860-704-3100. Do you need help finding employment, training programs, housing or other resources?   2. Connecticut Food Bank The event will take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month. School Farmer s Market Location: Parking Lot on the Corner of Miller & Center St, next to the Meriden Health Department. Date: January, 28th February, 25th March, 24th April, 28th May, 26th June, 23rd Please bring your own reusable grocery bags. Time: 4:00-5:00Pm

  3. NEED HELP WITH HEAT? What do you need to apply? Name, date of birth, social security # and all sources of income for ALL household members. If you are paid weekly bring your last 4 paystubs, if you are paid bi weekly bring your last 2 paystubs. Current Electric Bill (even if you heat with a different source) Current Gas Bill (if you heat with Gas) All Renters MUST bring a copy of Lease or Landlords name, address and phone number. Previous months bank statement for ALL accounts for ALL household members. This includes pre paid cards used for any Income that goes Direct Deposit. IF heat is included you MUST bring your lease showing heat is included. Must be a resident of Meriden, Wallingford, Southington or Berlin Call 211 for other towns & locations.
