Herkese Ak | Public WARNING For the entire report, the minimum font size must be 18 and the font must be Calibri, without exception. Paragraphs must not be bold or highlighted. The margins of the report template must be respected. If the information requested in the report is not included in the relevant section, this will be deducted from the score (Including the information in another part of the report does not count). If the requested information is not included in the corresponding slide, the relevant team will be disqualified in accordance with the disqualification criteria. Any cited information must be referenced. The reference may be at the bottom of each slide, or they may be collectively presented with numbering in a reference slide at the end of the report. Teams found to have plagiarized the works of others shall be disqualified. Visuals, such as tables, schemes, equations, etc. are also to be referenced. Shared dimensions must be presented using visuals that comply with the technical drawing format. All units in the report must be specified in accordance with the International System of Units. Measurements with missing units will not be taken into consideration. The tables used must not be different from the table format in the relevant slide. Charts and tables must be titled. Untitled charts and tables will not be taken into consideration. The charts and tables should be presented in similar sizes to those in the template. The information on the systems should be concise and easily understandable (clear). Herkese Ak | Public WARNING Information requested more than once throughout the report must be specified separately on each slide where requested. Even if the missing information has been provided in a previous slide, it will be deducted from scoring if absent, or if necessary, the team will be disqualified. The names of the documents (including tables) that are requested or permitted in the Annex must be included on the relevant slide, and the documents must be submitted in full, together with the PDR. Screenshots of tables should not be provided when presenting the tables to be presented in PDR or its Annex. The texts, formulas, equations (the Powerpoint formula and equation editor should be used), correlations etc. to be presented in the PDR or its Annex should not be presented in the form of a screenshot. The logo must be on every page of the report, and the titles must not be changed for any reason. No new and/or different slide should be added to the slides in the template shared by the Competition Committee. The report must be uploaded in PDF format. Reports submitted in a format other than PDF shall not be evaluated under any circumstances. Even if not specifically stated in the articles above, information that is not provided in accordance with the PDR format shall not be evaluated. Texts (including specification articles), sample images and boxes on the slides that are included to guide the competitors must be deleted. The CAD-designed rocket must be reflected on Open Rocket at a 1:1 scale. The enlarged visuals of the upper left corner containing Height- Mass-Diameter information, the upper right corner containing Stability-CG-CP information, and the lower left corner containing Apogee-MaxVel-MaxAcc information (as shown in the visual below), taken from the Open Rocket screenshot, should be also included outside the visual. No new table should be made. An exact replica of the visual must be prepared. The size of each part should be included, as in the sample visual below. Hot Gas Generator Requirements Herkese A k | Public Team Logo This section is to be filled in only by teams wishing to perform rocket separation using pyrotechnic material. Teams that do not use pyrotechnic materials are obliged to clearly state on this page that they do not use pyrotechnic materials. In accordance with Articles 3.2.2.2.10, 3.2.2.2.11 and 3.2.2.2.12 of the Specifications: 3.2.2.10. The teams will not be allowed to use their own pyrotechnic material in their hot gas generator systems. 3.2.2.11. The pyrotechnic hot gas generator (in capsule form) will be hand-delivered by the TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition Committee to the teams that will use the Hot Gas Generator (HGU) in the launch site, and information about the HGU is given in Annex 3. 3.2.2.12. During the installation/integration activities in the Aksaray Launch Site, the teams must prove that the hot gas generator provided by the TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition Committee is used in the rocket. Otherwise, they will be eliminated. The teams that will use the hot gas generators in question are required to fill in the table below based on their preliminary designs. Otherwise, the team will be eliminated. 3.2.6.3 The commercial FCCs that the teams will use must be selected from among the products listed in Annex 5 (products approved by the TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition Committee). Otherwise, the team will be eliminated. The Flight Control Computers that are planned for use must be introduced in this slide. High school teams will be able to use one flight computer. If one (1) Flight Computer will be used, it must be commercial. The full name and code of the system must be shared. If two flight computers will be used, the second one may be an indigenously developed Flight Control Computer. The similarities and differences of the Flight Control Computer must be presented in a summary table. The means of switching between two flight control computers must be explained at a basic level.
