Reproductive Category Bread Mold Reproduction: Rhizopus, is a common type of fungus. It grows and reproduces the same way that most molds do. In asexual reproduction, the mold makes spores inside a sporangium Moss reproduces: Like all bryophytes mosses, have two forms of reproduction, Asexual or vegetative reproduction and sexual reproduction.
Moss : Sexual Reproduction At regular intervals depending on species and weather condition, mosses produce small sexual structures known as archegonium (female structure that produces egg cells), orantheridium (male structure that produces sperm cells). These can occur on different parts of the same plant but more often on different plants.
Bread mold: Rhizopus stolonifer exhibits both sexual and asexual reproduction. The asexual phase occurs more frequently. The surrounding condition in which the mold resides, is the factor that causes either type of reproduction by the mold.
