Regional Automated Vehicle Program 2.0, led by the North Texas Regional Transportation Council, aims to facilitate the deployment of automated vehicles (AVs) in public entities. The program consists of various projects such as AV planning, cost coverage, and fund allocations for priority deployments. Additionally, a voluntary program allows public entities to express interest in hosting AV deployments. Associated policies emphasize the region's commitment to innovation in transportation and strategic investments in AV services. The schedule outlines key milestones from briefings to funding availability in late 2019.
