Quality Matters Training for Faculty at RPCC
Training initiatives at River Parishes Community College (RPCC) aim to enhance online course quality through Quality Matters (QM) workshops. Faculty members undergo QM courses, Peer Reviewer training, and QM Reviews to ensure excellence in online pedagogy. The merger with South Central Louisiana Technical College spurred the need for additional training, especially for OER online courses. Dr. Dale Doty's Textbook Free by 2023 initiative aligns with prioritizing OER courses for QM review. Objectives include training new faculty, certifying Peer Reviewers, and conducting QM Reviews for course certification.
