QOVF Giving Tuesday Group Competition Information
QOVF is hosting a competition for groups to raise the highest dollar donations by December 6th, 2018. The group with the most donations will receive a $500 matching donation to their funds. Support the mission of QOVF to provide comforting quilts to armed service members and veterans touched by war. Get involved in the Group with the MOSTEST Competition by following the toolkit guidelines and showcasing veteran stories and artwork. Learn more and participate to make a difference this Giving Tuesday!

See Vignette Folder What does a quilt mean to a Veteran to receive a QOV? It was an honor to accept the quilt of valor as a veteran protecting the United States of America. During my time of service during the Vietnam Era we Veterans were not really recognized or respected as Veterans. Vietnam Vet, 1959-1965 Veteran s Stories examples My Quilt of Valor means the world to me. It was so wonderful to be honored in such a way. Returning from Viet Nam we were made fun of, spit on, and treated so badly for so long. Never getting any respect for what we did. I am truly appreciative of the honor now. And I appreciate the Quilts of Valor honoring my three buddies I was with in Viet Nam with Brothers forever. Vietnam Vet, 1968 - 1970
