  1. I Will Extol the Lord with All My Heart Psalm 111

  2. Psalm 111:1 1Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

  3. Psalm 111:2-4 2Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them. 3Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. 4He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.

  4. Psalm 111:5-7 5He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. 6He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations. 7The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy.

  5. Psalm 111:8-9 8They are established for ever and ever, enacted in faithfulness and uprightness. 9He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever holy and awesome is his name.

  6. Psalm 111:10 10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

  7. WORSHIP WORKS WORD WISDOM

  8. WORSHIP We think that if we don t feel something there can be no authenticity in doing it. But the wisdom of God says something different: that we can act ourselves into a new way of feeling much quicker than we can feel ourselves into a new way of acting. Worship is an act that develops feelings for God, not a feeling for God that is expressed in an act of worship. When we obey the command to praise God in worship, our deep, essential need to be in relationship with God is nurtured. (Eugene Peterson, A Long Obedience in the Same Direction)

  9. WORKS Notice what The Lord has done Ponder & Study His Works People of Israel The Exodus Christians Life, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Remember Celebrate Participate in God s Works

  10. WORD all his precepts are trustworthy. (v.7) The Lord still has something to say to us in Scripture You can never have a Christian mind without reading the Scriptures regularly because you cannot be profoundly influenced by that which you do not know. (R. Kent Hughes)

  11. WISDOM The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To Him belongs eternal Praise! Future historians will record that we of the twentieth century had intelligence enough to create a great civilization but not the moral wisdom to preserve it. (A.W. Tozer)

  12. WORSHIP HIM! REMEMBER HIS WORKS! LISTEN TO HIS WORD! BECOME WISE BY HONORING AND WORSHIPING HIM!
