determination, and both giving and getting, and feeling a sense of
accomplishment upon completing that goal. When reached, the next level
of success appears in the distant future, and you start the journey over
again.

Various 8th graders from MVMS in 2016-2017 share their definitions of success. Success, according to these students, ranges from achieving personal satisfaction in work, financial stability, and reaching set goals to finding happiness, giving back, and recognizing self-worth. These insightful perspectives highlight the diverse ways success is perceived and achieved.
