  3. The Status of Nuclear Safety Capacity Building in National level National Strategy for Education and Training in Radiation Protection We had 14 meeting so far since 2017. 9 members and there are number of observers.

FANR Strategic Goals Provide technical and professional training and development of staff to maintain and enhance the skills that they need in order to perform their jobs and meet the future requirements of FANR. Ensure the Peaceful, Safe and Secure use of Nuclear Energy and Radiation Sources Achieve Public Confidence and Awareness of Regulatory Efforts to assure the safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear activities in the UAE Ensure Sustainability of the UAE Regulatory Infrastructure Build Emirati technical Nuclear Regulatory expertise and leaders Ensure the provision of all administrative services in accordance with the quality, efficiency and transparency standards (N) Enhance innovation culture within Federal Authority for Nuclear regulation work environment (N)

  10. Steering Committee contribution Conducting workshops that will support to have national Strategy for Nuclear Safety Capacity Building. Provide or facilitate clear methods of developing an integrated national strategy for Nuclear Knowledge Management and Knowledge Networks.

  11. Future plans in capacity building Priorities in capacity building for 2019 and beyond At organizational level Continuing Developing Emiratis to be experts each in his/her fields. More Knowledge Management outcomes.
