CARICOM, a Caribbean community comprising countries such as Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, and others, is implementing a Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) strategy. This strategy focuses on transparency provisions, test procedures, single window systems, risk management, and post-clearance audits. The common framework aims to enhance regional capacity building through donor engagement, resource optimization, and public-private partnerships. Challenges include evolving support needs, donor identification, eligibility criteria, and limited grant resources. Visit www.caricom.org for more information.
