Timeline 1998: Original guidelines and procedures manual created September 2014: Inaugural NASEMSO National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines released 2016: EMFTS Board approved the NASEMSO guideline document as the foundation for the State of Ohio guidelines September 2017: NASEMSO National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines Version 2.0 released

NASEMSO National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines: Overview Evidence-based and consensus-based Patient-centric Not all-inclusive Intentionally not EMS scope or provider level specific Designed as a resource for harvesting Harvested content must be aligned to desired EMS scope of practice / EMS provider level of certification
