What is TeleDermatology? Teledermatology is designed to facilitate virtual dermatology screening. This enables a Consultant Dermatologist to review a patient s skin condition remotely and decide how to treat the patient effectively within primary care. Teledermatology is not suitable for all patients or conditions and some patients will be assessed in the clinic. Exclusions: URGENT REFERRLAS: Single pigmented lesions, Lesions suspicious of Melanoma, Lesions suspicious of Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) 3

Operations 1. Referral and Photographs Service utilise Smartphones/ipads/cameras 2. Process The referral form, the patient s consent and leaflet are merged with EMIS Electronic Referral Service (ERS) 3. Outcomes GPs will receive outcome letters with treatment plan to follow 6
