Purpose of preschool is to foster a love for learning and prepare for kindergarten. Newton Christian School Preschool mission focuses on nurturing children to discover God and explore learning in a creative environment through intentional play, exploration, and spiritual development. The school location is at 1711 N. 13th Ave E. Licensing is through Iowa Department of Human Services' Voluntary Quality Rating System. Staffing includes well-prepared adults with proper experience and training. The schedule includes various activities and follows Iowa Early Learning Standards. Curriculum includes literature, math concepts, conversations, technology, and professional development.
