Newbridge College Transition Year program offers a unique educational experience focusing on holistic development through a variety of activities. With a growing number of students each year, the program emphasizes learning through experiences, work placements, and extracurricular engagements. Students engage in diverse subjects, work experience opportunities, and activities such as hikes, museum visits, and participation in Gaisce/President's Award challenges. Gaisce / Presidents Award Bronze award Agree a challenge in four activities as follows:- Skill e.g. touch-typing - Participate one hour per week for 26 weeks Community e.g. first aid - Participate one hour per week for 15 weeks Physical e.g. swimming - Participate one hour per week for 12 weeks Adventure - Organise a two day hike/cycle/canoe trip
