Ending tobacco sales in Pharmacies – May 2020
Ending use of coupons – July 2020

The New York State Tobacco Control Program aims to reduce the negative impact of tobacco use and secondhand smoke on health and society. Through comprehensive initiatives, including policy changes, community engagement, and cessation support, the program has achieved significant accomplishments such as the Clean Indoor Air Act and increasing the legal age of tobacco sales. Resources are available for individuals and communities to support a tobacco-free New York State.
