Criteria for desk review Capacity (development, emergency, advocacy) Location - Headquarters in a country where ChildFund does not have a member - Preference for the Global South Governance - Accountability and transparency standards (i.e. member of Accountable Now) - Child Safeguarding Policy with a solid monitoring mechanism. 4
Next Step Conduct a desk review Start a confidential strategic discussion at the senior leadership level (if possible, invitation to the CEO Forum in Nov) Establish an external diligence mechanism or set up an internal team Define types of membership Keep a dialogue with old member 5
