Learn how to access, navigate, and manage your MyAccess account at the Disability Center. Access your account using your MU Pawprint, sign required semester forms, set up SMS notifications, request accommodation plan modifications, view your mailbox for center communications, and complete information release consents as needed.

  1. Navigating Your myAccess Account

  2. Accessing Your Account Accessing Your Account To access your account go to the Disability Center s website; disabilitycenter.missouri.edu and click on the myAccess button. You will be asked to login using your MU Pawprint and password

  3. Required Semester Forms Required Semester Forms Each semester you will be prompted to read and electronically sign any required forms for the Disability Center. Click on one of the forms and all forms will display. Review the content and type your name at the bottom of the screen verifying that you have read and understood the information.

  4. SMS (Text Messaging) Notifications SMS (Text Messaging) is an available feature that you can activate to receive text messages from the Disability Center regarding upcoming appointments and your accommodations. You have the option to turn the feature on or off at anytime (the Disability Center staff do not have the ability to do this for you). You must enter a valid cell phone number to be able to receive these messages. You can also update your preferences by clicking on the Update Preference button in the green SMS (Text Messaging) box on the top, left-hand side of your account.

  5. Accommodation Plan Modification Request If you would like to request additional accommodations other than the ones you have already established with your Access Advisor you will need to complete the Accommodation Plan Modification Request Form . Your Access Advisor will review the request once it s been submitted. If a follow-up appointment is necessary, they will contact you and schedule a time to discuss the request.

  6. My Mailbox The My Mailbox tab is where a copy of all emails sent to you by the Disability Center will be stored. The communications in the log include your Accommodation Plan, upcoming appointment reminders, communication regarding specific accommodations, etc.

  7. Information Release Consents There are two types of Information Release Consent forms that you can complete (if applicable). 1) Learning Center Release - Undergraduates can apply for one-on-one tutoring through the Learning Center. If this applies to you, you will need complete the Learning Center Release of Information Form. 2) Information Release Form is for a parent/guardian, spouse, Academic Adviser, or other person that you wish to grant permission to regarding your accommodations. Be sure to include the following information: Full name of person you are allowing permission to Address Phone number Any specific details related to the nature of the permissions given.

  8. My Eligibility My Eligibility The My Eligibility section lists all of your approved accommodations.

  9. List Accommodations List Accommodations The List Accommodations section lists all of the classes for the current semester that you have generated Accommodation Notification Letters for.

  10. Exam Access, Alternative Formats, Exam Access, Alternative Formats, & Note & Note- -Taking Assistance Taking Assistance These sections will only show in your account if you have accommodations in those categories.

  11. My E My E- -Form Agreements Form Agreements The My E-Form Agreements section is where a copy of the required forms that you reviewed and electronically signed at the beginning of each semester will be housed.

  12. My Signup List My Signup List The My Signup List section is where any available signup forms are located (e.g. Parking Accommodations, Reduced Course Load Accommodations, and Requests for a Course Substitution). If you have questions regarding this section of your account, please contact your Access Advisor.
