QUESTION AND ANSWER
HOTS :

Some animals have a sharp mind. They amaze us by their actions .
Do you think they are able to think in the right
      direction ? Why /Why not?
Ans
. Most of the animals have a sense of smell and traits of
imitating. Thus, if they perform tricks and feats,it doesn’t
mean that they have the power of analysing and drawing
         conclusion.
Grandmother initially objected to keep Tutu as a pet but later she
agreed. How?
Ans.
Grandmother was convinced to keep Tutu as a pet because Tutu
was a female monkey and it is believed that girls are less
         troublesome than boys.

Give reasons why Tutu was being chased by the people in
the bazaar.
Ans. The people in the bazaar saw the narrator, shopkeeper,
Rocky and others chasing Tutu. Without having any idea
about the incident they also joined the chase.
Tutu took a pearl necklace from a jeweller’s shop and
created a huge mess in the market before finally throwing it
into a canal. The jeweller felt quite tense about the whole
episode. Write the jeweller’s diary entry describing how he
felt at Tutu’s mischief.

What a tiresome day I had today! A well built man and woman entered
my shop and asked me to show some diamond rings, while they began
to see the rings , a monkey came inside the shop without being noticed
by anyone she took a pearl necklace and wore around her neck and
ran away with it to the market crowd. I chased the monkey and many
people joined the chase. Finally, the monkey threw the necklace into
the canal. I jumped into the canal along with the man and several other
people. After sometime the man shouted that he got back the necklace
and handed it to me. It was a very exciting day. With a lot of difficulty I
            got back my necklace.
