This instruction prescribes the procedures for assignment of a Mentor to a Mentee by National Headquarters Education and Training
Mentoring Branch.
When a Mentor is not available at the local level to assist a member (Mentee), the Mentee will complete a “Mentee Registration”
application form linked to the Education and Training webpage. A member may register as a mentee for all specialty track training also. A
member may register as a Mentee at any time.
Specific instructions are provided for each Mentoring Manager.
Managers cover Marketing, Database/IT, Registration and Evaluation/Quality Assurance, Pairing, and Continuing Education and Training
functions.
Timeline
1 October 2020 – all projects completed, 15 December 2020 – Mentor Webpage live with tools, January 2021 – NHQ Mentoring
