I graduated from Tennessee Technological
University (TTU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education.
I have a daughter currently taking nursing courses
at Saint Petersburg College, and my son, a recent
high school graduate is…still deciding.
I’ve been teaching for 23 years (17 were in
Tennessee).
I have two fur babies!
 
 
 
Things I enjoy include: dancing, floating in the pool,
and enjoying a large bowl of cheese dip and chips!
 
I graduated from the University of Florida with a
Bachelor’s in Agricultural Education and
Communications- Go Gators!
This is my first year teaching! I am super excited to
enter the world of second grade!
I have an adorable cat named Macaroni &
Cheese- Mac for short.
 
 
 
 
 
 
I grew up in Pasco County and graduated from
Hudson High School.
I love board games!
 
I graduated from Clearwater Christian
College
My husband and I rescue animals, so
we have a lot of pets!
I’ve been teaching for 8 years.
My favorite hobby is painting cartoon
characters and animals. I especially
love painting and sketching people's
pets for art shows.
 
I graduated from USF with a Bachelor’s
in Elementary and Early Childhood
Education.
I am also certified in Art Education K-12.
I am married to a Math Teacher! We
have a son and a daughter AND two
beautiful granddaughters!
This will be my 20
th
 year teaching in the
classroom!
I love collecting children’s books,
crafting, and cooking!
 
I graduated from USFSP, Go Bulls!, with
a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
I have four amazing children. One
daughter and there sons.
I have been teaching for 5 years. This
will be my 4
th
 year here at GHES>
My objective is to help nurture and
assist the students with meeting their
full potential academically,
emotionally, and socially.
I promise I will do my best for your
child.

Minnesota (Twin Cities) with a Bachelor’s in
Art History and a Master’s in Elementary
Education
I have one son 
(he just started law school!!)
I’ve been teaching for 23 years in Pasco
County.
I love my grand dog Bella. She is the best
Chihuahua!!

Education and a Master’s Degree in ESOL.
I have been teaching for 16 years in early
education.
I was born in the Bronx, New York, and
moved to New Jersey with my husband.
I have been married for 34 years and we
have a daughter and a son.
I have two cats which I have learned to
love. When I was younger, I had a pet
monkey.
I love, love, reading all different books
from a variety of genres.

Just like last year, we will be using Gator
Binders and planners daily. Students will be
getting 
1
 stamp this year for everyday you
demonstrate how to be a 
Great Gator
!
Planners are available from school for $3.50.

Friday is Spirit Day. Buy your Gator shirt for

Both online and campus students will be
learning through Canvas with their teachers
simultaneously.

In ELA, students will be working
on individualized Power Goals
(at their current color level),
with the expectation of
reaching the 2R or higher IRLA
level by the end of the year.
 
 
Students will be working on 3 different
forms of writing this year (informational,
opinion, and narrative). They will be
working through the writing process with
many tasks that accompany the whole
group reading.

Students will be working on the 
7
syllable patterns for one and two
syllable words.
 
Students will be working on learning all
of the 1R and 2R tricky words.
 
Phonics skills will include: short/long
vowels, blends, digraphs, compound
words, diphthongs, affixes, -r controlled
words, and consonant +le endings.
 
In Math, students are going to
be using the Eureka math series,
and will focusing on adding and
subtracting through 1,000.
 
Students will be doing exciting,
informative, hands-on science labs.
 
Students will learning about the
world around them; observing
matter, plants, life cycles, and
weather.
 
Students will be learning about the
world around them, as well as their
own community!
 
In addition, they will be working on
topics including: the 1
st
 Americans,
Discovering America, Citizenship,
and Supply/Demand.
 
We encourage
all students to
read on a
nightly basis!

gate and west of Paige Dr.
Students need to stay in the car until a
GHES employee releases them.

child knows who their homeroom teacher is this
year.
