Synchronous Instruction Minimum 30 minutes for direct instruction (live, interaction and/or collaboration with students) & 10- 20 minutes for closure activity or formative assessment during the 80/84 minute block. Friday Early Release is flexible with 20 minutes of direct interaction with students.
Attendance Regular class attendance is important. In the remote learning environment, a student is present and participating during synchronous learning. For each class meet, a teacher will take attendance. They will need to record the 1R (Present-Off Site) code for each student that is PRESENTin each class meet. If a student is absent; it is their responsibility to notify all their teachers of the absence, provide the front office with proper documentation and complete all missing assignments.
