  1. REVIEW FOR COMMON ASSESSMENT EVERYONE WILL NEED A PIECE OF PAPER AND SOMETHING TO WRITE WITH.

  2. 1. The Kerwoods went out to eat at Chili s. If there bill was $58.65 and they gave their server a 15% tip, how much was the total bill?

  3. 2. A soccer team played 32 games. If they won 25% of them, how many games did the team win?

  4. 3. If the original quantity is 55 and the new quantity is 85, what is the percent of change?

  5. 4. This month a veterinarian saw 52 animals. The clinic needs to increase the number of animals by 20% next month in order to make enough money. How many animals do they need to see next month in order to make enough money?

  6. 5. A lamp is on sale for 10% off the regular price of $159. What is the sale price of the lamp?

  7. 6. A recliner that is normally $750 is discounted to $600. What is the percent discount?

  8. 7. Ms. Stoner purchased a new computer for $1,150 at the Apple Store. If sales tax is 7.5%, what was the amount of her sales tax?

  9. 8. Justin and his friend Dan went to the movies. If they bought popcorn for $4.25 and a soda for $2.25, what was their total bill after adding 5% sales tax?

  10. 9. Johns parents deposited $1000 into a savings account as a college funs when he was born. How much interest will he have earned after 18 years with a simple interest rate of 3.25%?

  11. 10. Mr. Abed takes out an $8,000 personal loan to restore his antique car. The bank loans him the money at 6.5% simple interest for 4 years. How much will he have to pay the bank back?
